Poor knowledge sharing is poor productivity. GoLinks allows its users to easily share any document, resource, or webpage by creating custom, human-readable links.
While this makes it easy for users to find and share information on a desktop, users aren't able to do the same once they step away from their desk. How can we optimize the mobile go link experience?

A go link is a simple, human-readable shortcut that redirects users to URL destinations. Tech giants like Google, Meta, and Amazon have utilized internal go link systems since as early as 2005 to drastically cut down time spent searching for resources.
GoLinks was founded in 2016 to create a SaaS product that enabled smaller companies to also benefit from this productivity tool.

The desktop GoLlinks experience did not translate well to mobile devices. With several GoLinks customers also expressing interest in an in-app experience, an iOS MVP was quickly built. However, we still required an Android app, as well as a more delightful mobile experience overall.

They wanted to make it easier to find and access go links on mobile.
They don't often go to different go links, just their usual 5-10.

User feedback on the MVP showed that users often had issues opening a go link, tapping the incorrect CTA on the component. I conducted a heuristic analysis on the component, deprioritized UI, and updated the tap target areas. I worked with engineering to ensure development of the updated component had interactions as designed.
